Hewlett Packard continues to dominate the India Laptop market for the year ending June 2014-6Wresearch

However, slow growth of the India Laptop market was revived after the completion of various pending government deals in Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. During 4Q 2013, the market declined by 56% over the 3Q 2013. Whereas, the market registered a growth of 102% in 2Q 2014 as compared to 1Q 2014.

Reduction in prices and increasing consumer awareness is fueling the demand for the Indian Laptop market. Apart from the procurement cost, demand is also driven by increasing number of new professions across the corporate and household segment. Additionally, the demand for Laptops in India is further expected to rise on account of the upcoming festive season.
